In the Bible we hear that Jesus went into the unattractive, chaotic, dirty areas of town in order to be with the tax collectors, sinners, prostitutes, broken-hearted, and the poor.

  • When does service year begin and end? Starting in June you will begin fundraising alongside the Apostle team with a 2-day bootcamp June 4-5 or 8-9. There will be summer formation/training July 15- Aug 7 followed by more time for fundraising. Community life in Philly will begin September 1, 2022 and go until June 2023.
  • Are my expenses paid for or do I get a paycheck?  From the money you have fundraised, you will receive bi-weekly paychecks to cover living costs, mission expenses, and any personal needs. As you walk in the footsteps of the Apostles, you are expected to live simply and be good stewards of the money given to you to live out your mission.

  • Where will we live? In a community in Folsom, PA. Young men and women live separately.
  • Will we have breaks during the year? Yes! You will have one week off for Thanksgiving, two weeks for Christmas, and one week for Easter. Exceptions can be made for certain family obligations.
  • How old do I have to be to apply? You must be 18 years or older by Sept 1 2022
